With over 13 years of recruitment industry experience and expertise, Matthew founded Recruitment Made Easy in order to continue his mission of providing transparency to the recruitment process.

RME's mission is to help people grow their careers by providing a raw, relatable, and resourceful perspective on the recruitment process. We strive to create a community that will help bring change to the recruitment industry for the better.

Each week RME delivers the following straight to your inbox: stories from everyday job seekers & hiring managers, hiring tips & our take on trending topics, recommendations for outside the office, and discounts to our favourite resources to help grow your career.

He has honed his expertise in talent acquisition and executive search, establishing himself as a trusted influencer in the recruitment field. Throughout his career, Matthew has leveraged his deep industry knowledge to empower both professionals and organizations, helping them navigate the evolving landscape of hiring and career development.

Rachel Johnson, Career Coach

Rachel Johnson is a strategic, people-centered operations executive and talent advisor with more than 20 years of experience across private, nonprofit, and public sectors. She combines a strong foundation in enterprise operations with deep expertise in human resources, recruitment, and organizational development. A SHRM-CP and Prosci-certified change management professional, Rachel partners with organizations and individuals to design hiring strategies, coach job seekers through every stage of their search, and implement HR practices that drive growth and engagement.

Rachel is known for her approachable style and results-driven mindset. She prioritizes a positive client experience, whether guiding an individual through a career transition or helping a company fill a critical role. She also helps clients clarify goals, remove bottlenecks, and build scalable processes that attract and retain top talent. Rachel is committed to meeting people where they are and supporting them in a way that respects each person’s unique needs and goals. She earned a BA in Pre-Law from Georgia State University and holds dual master’s degrees from the University of Texas at Dallas, one in Management and the other in Leadership and Organizational Development.
